The OkCrowe Experience

Rachael's photography style is classic and candid with warm film tone editing. Her approach to wedding photography is to focus on documenting the candid in-between moments throughout your day.

While Rachael does guide some moments and will pose you for portraits as needed, she prefers to allow things to unfold however they will. This sometimes means she’ll place you in a spot with good lighting, give you a pose, and then let you and your partner fall into the pose and interact in whatever way feels normal.

Rachael's style is to keep things flowing throughout the day in a way that is natural to your personalities. After all, this is your wedding day. You should look back and remember the time you had with your friends and family – not curated “moments” forced by a photographer.

As for editing, while trends and stylized editing is fun, Rachael prefers to lean into a natural editing style that will timelessly age well with your relationship.

Let's Chat

After submitting our wedding inquiry form, you’ll be sent a scheduler to book a 10-15 minute Zoom consultation call with Rachael. Once booked, the team will confirm her availability and send you some galleries of past weddings she's photographed.

Rachael believes it's super important to have a photographer who is a good fit and connects well with you (since you'll basically be spending a whole day together). For her, a video chat is so much more personal than emails. However, we understand how exhausting and sometimes anxiety-inducing calls can be, so if you’re more comfortable with sticking to email, just let us know in your contact form, and you can skip booking the call.

On your call, you’ll start to get to know each other! You'll start with a short introduction to Rachael and her career as a wedding photographer and then she'll learn all about you and your lover, and your wedding vision. She’d also love to know what you already have planned and what you would like help with. Then, you’ll discuss what package best fits your desired timeline.

Booking OkCrowe

Next, we’ll send across your proposal with your package options. Here you can choose your desired photography package as well as any videography, photobooth and additional à la carte options.

Once filled out, you’ll be prompted to sign your digital contract and pay your retainer of $2,500 to hold your date. No need to print and sign or mail a check (unless you want to). We prefer to keep everything online to make it as easy and accessible to you as possible.

After this, you're officially booked in and we'll send you your next steps!

You're booked!

In the weeks following your booking confirmation, you’ll receive a welcome packet with our wedding planning guide, tips for how to plan for photos on your big day, and more.

We’ll also be in touch throughout your engagement with wedding planning tips, our go-to vendor recommendations, answers to any of your wedding planning questions (send us #allthedetails), and a consultation call to go through your specific plans and timeline.

Engagement Session

Think of this as less of a “photo shoot” and more like a date night with your photographer friend third-wheel. No cheesy poses, no fake laughs, and no awkward “what do I do with my hands??” moments. Rachael will guide you through styling and posing to make this the most comfortable you’ve ever been in front of a camera.

This is also the perfect practice run for your big day. Many couples have never had professional photographs taken of them and wedding photography can feel really intimidating! Rachael uses many of the same poses and prompts at your engagement session as she will on your wedding day. After your engagement session, you’ll feel even more confident and prepared for the portraits on the big day.

Many of our packages include an engagement session but you can also add it as an add-on to your Base Wedding photography package (we highly recommend it).

On Your Wedding Day

It’s here! And trust us, we're as excited as you are.

Not only is Rachael your photographer, but she's also basically your wedding industry bestie who will be by your side all day. She’ll be documenting the entire day, but she's also your resource and helper as the day flows.

Whatever the day brings, she’ll be there to help you navigate it and bring your wedding dreams to life.

After the wedding

The week after your wedding, we’ll send a sneak peek with 5-10 images to enjoy while we sort and edit the rest of the images.

Your full gallery will be delivered to you with my custom presets in 6-8 weeks. All images will be professionally edited with color correction, straightening, cropping, and light skin-retouching. The gallery will also include color and duplicate black and white edits of every image for you to enjoy.

Print Services

We believe images are not meant to be looked at once and forgotten on a hard drive. Real, tangible print products are the best way to showcase and access your wedding day memories. Our online gallery platform offers fine-art prints, canvases, and custom-designed heirloom wedding albums.

Every wedding package includes access to the fine art print shop built directly into your gallery. And don’t forget, printed portraits and family group photos also make great holiday gifts!

We also include a print and sharing release in your contract, so you are welcome to download the images and print them with your own preferred service.

Full Day photography coverage (up to 10 hours) to capture the entirety of your wedding, from getting ready to your reception send-off.

The OkCrowe Welcome Guide, which includes tips for timeline planning, how to plan for photos on your big day, our wedding planning checklist, and more.

Access to a professional-grade fine art print lab for you to use directly in your gallery.

2 planning consultations where, together, we can create a photography timeline, and discuss optimal times for lighting and flow plus your vision, photo requests, and ideas for designing your wedding day to photograph beautifully.

Film photography, with 4-7 rolls of 35mm film to be used at Rachael's discretion throughout your wedding day.

Having a photobooth is a great way to entertain your guests during your cocktail hour and/or reception!

Every OkCrowe Photobooth Booking includes a trained photobooth attendant, unlimited pictures, Boomerangs, and video recordings to be shared via text, email, airdrop, or custom QR code, either a gold or black sequin backdrop, costume props and accessories, a customizable digital photo border, and a digital gallery following the event.
