Blurry black and white photo of the bride and groom laughing as they run through a field outside their wedding at the Tennessee Riverplace

I describe my photography style as classic and candid with warm film tone editing. My approach to wedding photography is to focus on documenting the candid in-between moments throughout your day.

While I do guide some moments and will pose you for portraits as needed, I prefer to allow things to unfold however they will. This sometimes means I’ll place you in a spot with good lighting, give you a pose, and then let you and your boo fall into the pose and interact in whatever way feels normal.

I try to keep things fun and flowing throughout the day in a way that is natural to your personalities. After all, this is your wedding day. You should look back and remember the time you had with your friends and family – not curated “moments” forced by a photographer.

As for editing, while trends and stylized editing is fun, I prefer to lean into a natural editing style that will timelessly age well with your relationship.
